I dispense my own lower back tattoos - each one unique, but tending to look like a map of the Hawaiian islands.

I can’t believe you guys are all busy.

Or are you all venting over at Ace’s.

Tell me your thoughts on what happened over at Ace’s, if you please. Tell me if you don’t please (h/t to the Siamese Twins in Lady and the Tramp).

On the Clampett’s song I always thought they were saying, “And then one day he was shootin at some coons and up from the ground came a bubbling pool.

    Guess I was wrong.

Then one day he was shootin up some food when up through the ground came a bubblin crude.

Musli, I missed everything that happened over at Ace’s last night. I don’t feel qualified to comment honestly on any of it.
Having said that, I used to hang at Ace’s/Protein Wisdom about 50/50 everyday. When Jeff stopped posting, PW changed. Not better, not worse, just different. I feel Ace has worked hard to build his community and deserves the rewards for doing it. To maximize his crazy $$s, I think he feels the need for some change, too. Not better, not worse, just different.
I’m not consciously avoiding PW or Ace, but I don’t go to either one of them half as much as I used to, and hardly ever comment. They’ve changed. As have I.
Now I come here and cut loose and become a totally moronic imbecile and laugh my ass off with all the quirky people who show up here and comment. When I’m not here, I visit IB and try to understand all their witty comments. There’s another handful I visit everyday that I consider blog buddies.
I hope this is the kind of input you wanted.

We’ve been watching some of the Hillbillies with the grandkids here. To my surprise, they like the black & white episodes better than the color ones.
They love to sing the song and they think Jethro is the dumbest person they’ve ever seen.
And PJ, you need to get your hearing checked or we’ll have to ban you :)

The older the gameshows, the better I like them. The black and white ones are best.

Why do we like black and white shows?

Of course, y’all probably don’t care, still excited with color TV as you are. (Just kidding!)

That’s not just a leg–it’ mid-stomp. That’s not just a horn–it’s a french horn. Sometimes a cigar is not just a cigar. Or something like that.

Hey, Rosetta, we had company over this weekend and it took two Hostages to help me entertain them.

  33. Comment by PattyAnn on March 31, 2008 12:46 am

Haha! They were impressed that I could chat 2 internet friends with a question like “hey, what do they call that tribal thing the Maoris do before a soccer game” and both friends can give me the correct answer without hesitating.
