Canadians Setting A Good Example

The Sun (UK) reports:

From the air base in Trenton, Ontario, the funeral cortege passes along motorways lined with scores of people holding Canadian flags, some with a hand on their heart, carrying banners emblazoned with the words “we support our troops.”

All 50 of the motorway bridges on the journey into Toronto were said to have been packed with the general public.

There’s nothing I can say, except I feel this is the kind of example some U.S. “patriots” should follow. And they know who they are.

Being patriotic is always a good thing. And such support for our armed services, whether we’re Canadian or British or French or German or Japanese or American, is something we certainly owe to our armed services.

It’s nice to see Canadians are also patriotic.

My observation has been that Americans are by and large very patriotic. Just the elite, who pooh-poohs everything of value, denigrates them.

Wow and to think I thought of Canadians as just about the same as Scandis!
